POSITION TITLE:          Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 School Year

REPORTS TO:              Principal and/or other Supervisor

The above position(s) for the Windsor C-1 School District’s 2026-2027 school year is hereby posted in accordance with Board Policy GDC-1 “Support Staff Recruiting and Hiring.”

Requirements:

Must have a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent (GED) and meet one of the following qualifications:

1. 30 College Credit Hours
2. Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree
3. Pass the ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment
4. Completed Missouri's 20-hour online substitute training program.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist teacher(s) with specific instructional, classroom, and child-care activities.

2. Support individual or small groups of students in academic areas.

3. Support students both with and without disabilities in the special education and general education settings.

4. Responsible for duties assigned by the teacher(s)
